Roberta Faye Helms, 69, of Pittsburg, KS, died April 16, 2024, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
She was born September 24, 1954, in Parsons, KS, the daughter of Robert Earl and Charlotte Faye (McColm) Forth. She was a graduate of Southeast High School, class of 1974.
Roberta was a CNA for New Horizons for several years. She was an avid Chiefs fan.
Survivors include her daughter, Sara Edwards, and husband Ryan of Pittsburg, KS; mother, Charlotte Forth of Weir, KS; two brothers, Roger Forth and wife Lynette of Pittsburg, KS, and Ricky Forth of Weir, KS; two sisters, Rita Mitchell and husband Harry of Weir, KS, and Reba Fredrick and Gary Scott of Pittsburg, KS; two grandchildren, Timothy Edwards of Frontenac, KS, and Jordan Edwards of Pittsburg, KS; and two great-grandchildren, Tottie Edwards and Liam Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Earl Forth, brother Robert Scott, and brother-in-law Greg Fredrick.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Cherokee County, KS.
