Kenneth Ray Munger, 77, died September 12, 2023, at Comfort Care Homes in Pittsburg, Kansas.
He was born June 1, 1946, to Ora and Hazel Munger-Large.
Burial will be at the Camp Ground Cemetery in Terrell, TX.
Kenneth served in the US Army. He served in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1970. He earned the Combat Infantry Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Star Medal and Air Medal.
Kenneth moved to Texas after returning home. He was a house builder and loved doing the BBQ wagon with the love of his life, Charlotte, going fishing, and helping his neighbors.
Kenneth is survived by sons Jeff Munger, and Stacy Munger; daughter, Melissa Munger; and brothers, John Munger, Leo Large (Margaret), Dan Large (Rose), and Richard Large (Deb).
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Large, Don Large, Jim Munger, and Larry Large; sisters, Sandra Mercado, Carolyn Smith, Shirley Human, Francis Scott, Pat Large, Kathy Large, Barbara Garrison, Linda Roberts, and Annette Large.
